A woman admits theft after taking an unattended clothes horse from a train which she believed had been abandoned – and now has a criminal record. This sad case illustrates how sometimes the judicial system can go wrong. Although by the letter of the law she committed an offence she hadn’t broke the spirit of the law. My advice to her is to try to get the conviction overturned.
