This bird was found yesterday afternoon (23/06/14 15:00h B.S.T.) on the pavement in Windermere in Beech Street. It is possibly a jackdaw nestling and appears to have died some days ago. This is not likely to be linked to the spate of bird deaths in Kirkby lonsdale.
