Two juvenile rooks were found on a mud track off Aynam road (Kendal, Cumbria.) yesterday morning. An area on the back of one was denuded of feathers. No other injuries were apparent. (A detailed examination could not be made.)

The birds were nesting in the rafters above and were okay in the afternoon (12:10).

SHEEP FOUND DEAD
August 23, 2013Two dead sheep have been discovered this morning in the NEAR FIELD behind the retirement flats.
