This creature was found in the Market square in Kirkby Lonsdale on September 23rd 2014. It appears to be a small crow nestling which died weeks ago. This creature was not observed on the previous Friday (19th September).

A medium sized bird (~ 15cm) has been found dead this afternoon (13:00h B.S.T.) at the roadside on Bentinck Drive. There were no visible signs of injury. Ref: BTD-3

The remains of a small mammal were found on Saturday morning (15 March 2014) on the footpath behind the retirement flats. No indication to the cause of death has been established.
